[origin: EP2378496A2] The device has a unit for generating a radio connection to a remote station, and automatic transmission of information and geographic coordinates referred by the information. A geographic coordinate detection unit, and the generating unit are started by keypress. The emergency call device is designed as a wristwatch with additional functions. A camera (4) and a light source (5) are arranged at and/or in a separate housing (10). The separate housing is arranged at a wristband of the wristwatch at a side that lies opposite to a watch case (1).
