Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2378612A1] The interface has a plug-in connector with contact partners, which are arranged in a housing i.e. injection molding part. The contact partners are arranged at an end of an electrical conductor of a line, where the electrical conductor is enclosed by an insulating jacket made of plastic i.e. ethylene tetrafluoroethylene. The housing is made of plastic i.e. polybutylene terephthalate, with increased shrinkage rate. The contact partners are arranged in contact chambers of a contact carrier, which comprises the contact partners. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a longitudinal waterproof interface.
