[origin: WO2010081569A1] The invention relates to a method for preparing printing forms in assembly position on one of several printing cylinders in a print press, wherein several printing forms are made available at a distance form the print press at the end of at least one sheet extruder with a sheet exposure device, wherein a particular printing form for the printing cylinder is distributed among mobile collector containers standing ready on the sheet extruder, differing mobile collection containers with printing forms for said same printing cylinder being supplied to said printing cylinder. At a particular time, on an operating side for the print press several mobile collector containers are provided adjacent to each other in the axial direction of said print cylinder, wherein print forms for the assembly positions arranged adjacent to each other on said print cylinder in the axial direction thereof provided in various mobile collector containers to the print press are taken from said mobile collector containers and provided on said assembly positions on said printing cylinder.
