[origin: WO2010069673A1] The invention relates to a contact-making plug (1) for making contact between a contact mount (25), in particular a printed circuit board, and two clamping claws (2, 3) which can be pivoted relative to one another transversely with respect to an insertion direction (E), one of which clamping claws (2, 3) is in the form of a contact holder (4, 5) which supports at least one sprung contact element (6) and is designed to rest on the contact support (25) with a contact force, and having spring means (7) for producing a clamping force which is independent of the contact force. According to the invention, the clamping claws (2, 3) each have at least one stop surface (15, 16; 17, 18) which, when the contact-making plug (1) is not in contact, rest on one another and therefore prevent plastic deformation of the contact element (6).
