[origin: EP2380460A1] The support (10) has a coupling region (12) including a coupling unit (14) for a carrier frame fixed around a rotational axis (16), and another coupling unit (15) that is pivotable for a backrest frame. The coupling units are formed such that the support is automatically rotated against a backrest around the rotational axis during force application. The coupling region is pivoted in a backward direction (17a) equal to the force application. An upper support region (11) is pivoted in a forward direction (17b) set opposite to the force application, and supports a head or neck. An independent claim is also included for a backrest comprising a backrest frame secured at a carrier frame.
