Abstract (en)

The method involves plastically deforming bending goods i.e. tubular bending goods (5), at a bending station of a bending machine by bending units (6a-6c) in a meander-shaped manner. A part of the bending units is moved towards the bending station between a working position (AP1) in which the bending goods are moved before deformation, and another working position in which the bending goods are released after the deformation. The bending goods are aligned by an aligning unit (3) of the machine while the aligning unit is moved away from the bending station or towards the bending station.

Ein Verfahren zum Betrieb einer Biegemaschine (1), wobei ein zugeführtes Biegegut (5), insbesondere rohrförmiges Biegegut (5), mit einer Richteinheit (3) der Biegemaschine (1) gerichtet wird und an einer Biegestation (2) der Biegemaschine (1) mit mehreren Biegeeinheiten (6a-6c) mäanderförmig plastisch verformt wird, wobei zumindest ein Teil der Biegeeinheiten (6b, 6c) an der Biegestation (2) wiederholt zwischen einer ersten Arbeitsposition (AP1), in welcher das Biegegut (5) vor einer Verformung ergriffen wird, und einer zweiten Arbeitsposition (AP2), in welcher das Biegegut (5) nach einer Verformung freigegeben wird, verfährt, ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mit der Richteinheit (3) Biegegut (5) gerichtet wird, während die Richteinheit (3) von der Biegestation (2) weg oder auf die Biegestation (2) zu verfahren wird. Mit der Erfindung ist es möglich, die Taktzeit beim mäanderförmigen plastischen Verformen von Biegegut zu erhöhen.
