[origin: EP2381057A2] The door closer (1) has a drive shaft connected with a door leaf, and a lifting arc disk arranged on the shaft. A plate carriage (4) has a force transmission roller (7) that is arranged at a side of the disk. A piston rod (8) is connected with the plate carriage by a horizontal connection screw (10), and a closer spring (9) and/or a drive are provided for transmitting force to the piston rod. A piston is arranged at the piston rod. The connection screw is connected with the plate carriage and screwed into the piston rod along a longitudinal axis (24) of the piston rod.
