Slurry pump, comprising a frame, a slurry stock container, a first pump cylinder and a second pump cylinder on the frame, a first hydraulic drive cylinder and a second hydraulic drive cylinder that are both provided with a piston and a piston rod that is connected to a slurry displacer in the first pump cylinder and second pump cylinder, respectively, for moving the slurry displacer through the pump cylinder, a slurry outlet, a first inlet piece and a second inlet piece that are situated in a flow-through connection between the slurry supply container on the one hand and the first pump cylinder and the second pump cylinder, respectively, on the other hand, a first outlet piece and a second outlet piece that are situated in a flow-through connection between the first pump cylinder and second pump cylinder, respectively, on the one hand and the slurry outlet on the other hand, a rotor valve for controlling the pump wherein the rotor valve is provided with a core that is rotatable about its axis for obtaining a repetitive pump cycle controlled by the rotation of the core.
