[origin: EP2381531A1] The array antenna (1) has two single radiator elements (3) formed as flat ribbon conductors (4) with two strips arranged at a distance and parallel to each other. The strips have opposite inner surfaces that are coated with a material with high electrical conductivity. An intermediate insulator material is arranged between the strips, and a ratio of spacing of the strips to width of the strips is smaller than 0.1. Radiating ends (5) of the radiator elements lie in a common radiation plane, where the radiator elements form a supply network (2).
