Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2010081974A1] The invention relates to an orthopaedic module (1) for thermoforming orthopaedic soles including a multi-layered complex that comprises in an independent or pre-glued manner: a first rigid or semi-rigid shell (11) for providing bearing to the orthopaedic sole; said first shell (11) having a V-shaped anterior cut-off (13) in which the end (14) of the inner branch is located in the vicinity of the first metatarsal collar, in which the end (15) of the outer branch is located in the vicinity of the fifth metatarsal collar, and in which the posterior edge (16) is substantially located in the vicinity of the posterior centre of the middle metatarsals, a sole-shaped upper lining (21) with an anterior edge located substantially at the anterior limit of the anterior heel and for insulating the foot from said first sole (11). According to the invention, the module includes at least one rigid or semi-rigid second shell (3) for providing bearing to the orthopaedic sole, and having an outline with a shape substantially identical to that of the first one but with dimensions smaller than the first one and adjacent to said first shell (11).
