[origin: DE102010009488B3] The housing (1) has two housing shells (3, 5) each formed with positioning recesses (11a-11c). Two connecting pins (9a-9c) are provided at a connection block (7). The housing shells are placed and aligned in a mounting plane at the connection block via the positioning recesses provided for the connecting pins. Forces acting in or against a shoot direction are received from surfaces of one of the connecting pins and the positioning recess. The connecting pins and the positioning recesses are arranged relative to each other in a cross-sectional plane. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a weapon housing.
