[origin: EP2383429A2] A subsea device is configured to control a subsea well. The subsea device includes a frame (82); a blowout preventer (84) connected to the frame (82) and configured to close a bore that fluidly communicates with the subsea well; a pressure supply line (90) connected to the frame (82) and configured to provide a fluid under pressure; a control module (100, 110) connected to the frame (82) and configured to receive the fluid from the pressure supply line (90) and to distribute the fluid to control various functions of the subsea device, the control module (100, 110) including a fixed part (100) and a removable section (110); the fixed part (100) having a first base (191) connected to a valve manifold (130) that houses a hydraulic activated valve (106); and the removable section (110) being configured to detachably attach to the fixed part (100) and including a second base (111) connected to an electrically activated valve (108).
