[origin: EP2383521A2] The housing (1) has a corner element (6) formed by a separate component and arranged in a region of an edge between outer surfaces (3, 4) of the housing. The outer surfaces are arranged in angle relative to each other, and border together in the region of the edge of the housing. The corner element comprises control elements (7) e.g. push-button actuators and touch sensor, to actuate a function of a vapor fume hood. Spacing between the outer surfaces is closed by the corner element. The housing is formed as a cuboid or frustum of pyramid-shaped structure.
