[origin: WO2010076331A2] The invention relates to a screwing tool comprising a drive arm (1) that has a handle section (2) and that carries a gear head (3) having two broad side planes (10, 11) facing away from each other at the end of the drive arm, wherein a freewheel lock (4) is arranged in the gear head (3), comprising a polygonal opening (20) that can be rotated incrementally about the rotational axis (9) of the freewheel lock (4) by moving the drive arm (1) back and forth about the rotational axis (9) and that is used for inserting an output polygon (8), wherein the screwing tool can also be used as a hammer, for which purpose the gear head (3) comprises at least one impact surface (6). The output polygon (8) is inserted in the polygonal opening (20) so as to be movable back and forth in the direction of the rotational axis (9) between two detent-secured screwing positions, wherein in the screwing positions the output polygon (8) forms an output part protruding from one of the two broad side planes (10, 11) in each case, wherein the impact surface (6) forms two sections (13, 14) projecting over one of the two broad sides (10, 11) in each case and the output polygon (8), in a middle position lying between the screwing positions, projects approximately equally far above the broad side surfaces (10, 11) on both sides.
