[origin: EP2384988A1] The cap box type package has a flat container (11) made of base wall, container walls, namely side walls (12) and transverse walls (14), for receiving a group of elongated cigarettes, particularly cigarillos in an inner wrapper. The inner wrapper is made of foil or paper under formation of a block with cigarettes that are oriented parallel to the base wall of the container. An elastically deformable or compressible lifting element is arranged between cigarette block and base wall of the container. An independent claim is also included for a device for manufacturing or filling cap box with a cigarette block and a lifting element.
