[origin: EP2385208A2] The frame (1) has a frame profile (2) comprising two grooves (3, 4) spaced apart from one another and arranged parallel to each other in a longitudinal direction of the frame profile. Glazing beads (5, 6) made of metal are inserted into the grooves for forming a receiver for a glass panel (10). Fixing units (9) e.g. wood screws, arranged transverse to the longitudinal direction of the frame profile are provided in the frame profile. The fixing units penetrate the frame profile partially and the glazing beads completely.
