The cooking hob has a plate, particularly a glass ceramic plate, accommodated between a decorative frame and a support frame. The decorative frame is continuously closed, and has multiple decorative strips (20,30). The decorative frame is formed by a push connection of the decorative strips. A guide plate of a decorative strip extends into a guide receptacle of the adjacent decorative strip. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a cooking hob.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Kochfeld (1) mit einer Platte (40), vorzugsweise einer Glaskeramikplatte, wobei die Platte (40) zwischen einem Zierrahmen (10) und einem Trägerrahmen (50) aufgenommen ist. Dabei ist der Zierrahmen (10) umlaufend geschlossen und weist eine Mehrzahl von Zierleisten (20,30) auf.
