Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2386797A2] The gas burner (1) has a blower for conveying a gas-air mixture and a swirl generating unit (7) in a cylindrical flow path (4) of the gas-air mixture. The flow path flows into a combustion zone (5) and is arranged in a closed combustion chamber (6). A heat exchanger (3) is assigned to the flow path. The cylindrical flow path has an enlarged outlet geometry (8) at its opening. The enlarged outlet geometry is shaped like a shell.
