Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2386799A1] The system (1) has a combustion chamber i.e. wood log hearth (7), separated from another combustion chamber i.e. wood granule hearth (8), by a glass wall (19). The former chamber is closed in facade by another glass wall, where the glass walls are self-cleanable. A solid, slow heat diffusion and storage element partially covers the latter chamber. An electrical heating resistor is integrated in the solid element. A smoke box (10) is connected with a single-piece dual flow coupler (14) that is connected to a dual flow smoke evacuation duct and a flexible fresh air intake duct.
