[origin: EP2387930A1] The cleaning body (1) comprises a melamine resin foam and base body (10) which is provided with two sides (12,16), where one side has a profiled surface (14). The melamine resin foam comprises an open-cellular and abrasive foam material, where the profiled surface comprises a burl (18). The melamine resin foam has compression hardness, according to German institute for standardization (DIN) 53577or International organization for standardization (ISO) 3386. An independent claim is also included for a method for mechanical cleaning of structured floor surfaces.
