[origin: EP2388381A2] The mounting rail (1) has a support profile (2) formed by a connection with a hardenable building material (3) in an embedding area (5) at an outer side. The support profile is partially or completely provided with a non-stick coating (7) or a non-stick surface outside the embedding area. A filling material e.g. a filler is located within an enclosed inner space (12) of the support profile. The support profile is made of metal such as iron, steel and aluminum, or plastic. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for embedding a mounting rail, particularly into a hardenable building material; and (2) a building structure or component, such as wall or ceiling.
