Abstract (en)
The present invention relates to a digital tachograph, and a method for a tachograph, comprising motion collection means for collecting a vehicle speed value, vehicle speed limit collection means for collecting a vehicle speed limit, a second speed limit collection means for collecting a second speed limit value, e.g. road speed limit, driver speed limit or cargo speed limit. The tachograph also comprises speed limit management means for register a speed limit break if the speed of the vehicle exceeds one of the speed limit values.
