[origin: WO2010084368A1] A trailer adapted for releasable connection with a truck or a similar vehicle. The trailer comprises a substantially planar loading surface and a housing being foldable between a retracted state, in which it is stored at one end of the trailer leaving the loading surface open, and an extended state, in which it extends from one end of the trailer to the other end of the trailer covering the loading surface. The trailer is further provided with a plurality of locks for locking engagement with corresponding locking means of a shipping container.
