Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2010031870A1] The invention relates to an antenna device with quick aiming switching. The antenna device (102) comprises an antenna (106) with electronic beam switching, wherein said device can be connected by a cable (112) to a radio apparatus (108), and said device includes a computing unit (104) capable of determining an aiming direction of the antenna beam from measuring parameters of the radiofrequency signal processed by said equipment, the parameters being received on a communication interface (105) of said device. The invention more particularly relates to smart antennas sometimes referred to by the acronym FESA for «Fast Electronically Steerable Antenna».
