[origin: EP2389986A1] A product for use in forming a vapor barrier on a flammable liquid comprises a multiplicity of spheres having the following characteristics: €¢ a specific gravity of less than 0.5 €¢ a diameter of between 1 /16 inch (1.6mm) and 4 inches (10.2 cm) €¢ an outer layer which is oleophobic and anti-static €¢ a support for the outer layer which is heat resistant or intumescent.
