[origin: WO2010087697A1] A fence post placeable on or in the ground for supporting a fence, the fence comprising at least one horizontal member connected to the fence post, between the fence post and at least one other fence post. The fence post has a cavity within the fence post, the cavity holding at least one LED lighting module whereby the fence post is provided with at least one irradiation opening in a wall of the fence post, corresponding with a radiating surface of the LED lighting module whereby the LED lighting module is arranged within the cavity of the fence post.
