Abstract (en)
The tool has an elongated body (2) i.e. cylindrical rod, whose one end is provided with a pyramidal work head (4). The work head has concave work surfaces (6) that are distributed around a longitudinal axis of the tool. The work surfaces converge towards a tip (5) situated on the longitudinal axis, and are obtained in a helical manner, along the longitudinal axis. The work surfaces are connected with one another along helical edges (7) that converge towards the tip situated on the longitudinal axis.

L' outil de frappe est conçu pour fragmenter des matériaux de type pierreux. Il possède un corps allongé (2) pourvu, à une extrémité, d'une tête de travail (4) avec une série de faces de travail (6) réparties autour de l'axe longitudinal de l'outil et convergeant vers une pointe (5) située sur cet axe. Les faces de travail (6) sont des faces concaves générées de façon hélicoïdale. Ces faces se raccordent les unes aux autres suivant des arêtes (7) elles-mêmes d'allure hélicoïdale, qui convergent vers la pointe (5). Un tel outil de frappe peut être utilisé manuellement ou avec un matériel électroportatif ou pneumatique générant une action de percussion.
