[origin: EP2392537A1] The head (1) has cylinder locking bars (3, 4) translationally displaceable in a housing (2) and locking the head with a telescope section of a crane boom. The bars have toothed bar sections (16, 17), which are in tooth-engagement with pinions (14, 15). The pinions stay in common tooth-engagement with tooth sections (12, 13) of a toothed ring (6). The toothed ring surrounds a cylinder retainer (7) for retaining a telescopic cylinder. The ring includes a drive tooth section (8), which engages with a tooth bar section (9) of a translationally displaceable drive bolt (10).
