The in-and-out cam 1 is in an in-state so as not to inhibit movement of the knitting operation butt 70 on a side where the knitting operation butt 70 is raised by the rising inclined plane 8, and is in an out-state so as to make an up and down vibration margin of the knitting operation butt small at a guide inclined plane 10 facing a rear end of the knitting operation butt 70 on a side where the knitting operation butt 70 is lowered by the lowering inclined plane 9.
