Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2392723A2] The appliance has a door (1) for opening and closing a drying area, and a filter (3) held at the door by magnetic retaining force in an operating position, where a processing air flow is guidable from the drying area to the closed door through the filter in the operating position. The filter is removed from the operating position by overcoming the magnetic retaining force and completely detached from the door. The filter comprises a magnetic field producing element. Another filter (4) is arranged at the door over a hinge (15), where the door comprises a collar (13). An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a household appliance.
