The indication mechanism has at least one first occultation disk (2.1) housed rotatably, at least on part, between a moon disk (1) and a dial. A gear train (4) drives the first occultation disk in such a way that the indications (1.1,1.2) inscribed on the moon disk are obscured, at least in part, during specific phases of operation of the indication mechanism in such a manner that the indications appearing through the semi-circular aperture of the dial correspond to the natural appearance of the moon during the entire lunation. The moon disk is rotated to display the indications inscribed on the moon disk through the aperture of the dial to indicate the lunar phases. The first occultation disk is configured depending on its position in the indication mechanism or the shape of the aperture of the dial, so as to be provided with arms and apertures of specific shape. The first occultation disk is arranged non-concentrically relative to the moon disk. The first occultation disk and a second occultation disk (2.2) are housed on either side of the moon disk.

La présente invention concerne un mécanisme d'indication des phases de lune, notamment pour montre mécanique, comprenant un disque de lune (1) et un cadran (3) comportant un guichet (3.1) de forme sensiblement semi-circulaire. Le disque de lune (1) est entraîné en rotation de façon à afficher les indications (1.1, 1.2) inscrites sur le disque de lune (1) à travers le guichet (3.1) pour indiquer les phases de la lune. De plus, le mécanisme comprend au moins un premier disque d'occultation (2.1, 2.2) logé de manière rotative au moins partiellement entre ledit disque de lune (1) et ledit cadran (3), et un rouage d'entraînement (4) entraînant ledit au moins premier disque d'occultation (2.1, 2.2) de façon à ce que les indications (1.1, 1.2) inscrites sur le disque de lune (1) soient occultées au moins partiellement lors de certaines phases du fonctionnement du mécanisme de manière à ce que les indications (1.1, 1.2) apparaissant à travers le guichet (3.1) correspondent sensiblement à l'aspect naturel de la lune pendant toute la durée de lunaison. La présente invention concerne également une pièce d'horlogerie comportant un tel mécanisme d'indication.
