[origin: EP2393096A1] The device has two conductor (70, 84) including respective conductor sections (71, 85), which extend parallel to a plane. One of the conductor sections (71) bypasses a contact gap and is arranged at a side of the contact gap, where the side faces away from an electric arc extinguishing chamber (50). Current (C) is guided into the conductor sections against a direction in switch arcs (L, L') during an interruption process. A third conductor (80) electroconductively connects a connection terminal (60) with a movable contact (22).
