Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2393342A1] The system has a light beacon (1) provided with an electrical energy supply module (11), radio communication module (12) and processing logic unit (13) e.g. microcontroller. The logic unit has a memory and a clock synchronized with a reference clock. The electric energy supply module includes an electrical energy generator (110) and an energy storage unit (111). A remote control unit e.g. mobile computer, controls the beacon and includes a radio communication module, input unit e.g. virtual keyboard, and a CPU e.g. microprocessor, including a reference clock and memory. An independent claim is also included for a method for beaconing by a light beacon.
