[origin: WO2010089467A1] The invention relates to an apparatus for dispensing a coiled wiping material, including a housing (1) to be attached to a wall, with a bottom wall (1a), two side walls (1b), a lower base wall (1c) and a lid (2) hinged relative to said housing and that can be lifted upwards, said bottom wall (1a) receiving a module (3) itself having a bottom wall (3a) and two profiled side flanges (3b) provided to receive the coil (B) of material, wherein the dispensing apparatus includes a swivel mechanism for returning the strip of pre-cut material towards the back of the apparatus in close combination with the raising or lowering of the lid. The apparatus is remarkable in that the swivel mechanism is arranged on the outside on either side of the side flanges (3b) of the module in the space formed by the side flanges (1b) of the housing, in that said mechanism includes two levers (10) and (11) hinged together and between which at least one return roller (13) is provided, in that the first lever (10) has a uniform structure (10) while the second lever (11) is provided with different components forming a universal joint, in that the levers are coupled to arms (17-18) for raising or lowering the lid, and in that the material wound into a coil is pre-cut.
