Abstract (en)
The tool i.e. hammer drill (1), has a striker (20) i.e. anvil, guidable along an axis (8) parallel to an impact direction (9). A volume of a pneumatic chamber is variable with a movement of the striker along the axis. A valve (50) i.e. non-return valve, is actuatable based on a movement of the striker. The valve is actuatable to open during moving the striker in the impact direction and is actuatable to throttle or close during moving the striker against the impact direction. The valve is openable for an air flow into the chamber and throttled or blocked for the air flow out of the chamber. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling a machine tool.

Eine erfindungsgemäße Werkzeugmaschine hat einen Döpper, der entlang einer Achse parallel zu einer Schlagrichtung geführt ist. Eine pneumatische Kammer hat ein Volumen, das mit einer Bewegung des Döppers entlang der Achse variiert. Eine von der Bewegungsrichtung des Döppers abhängig betätigbare Ventileinrichtung verbindet die pneumatische Kammer mit einem Luftreservoir. Die Ventileinrichtung ist bei einer Bewegung des Döppers in Schlagrichtung geöffnet betätigt und bei einer Bewegung des Döppers entgegen der Schlagrichtung drosselnd oder schließend betätigt. Die gedrosselte oder geschlossene Ventileinrichtung begrenzt einen durch sie fließenden Luftstrom auf höchstens ein Zehntel des Werts gegenüber dem Luftstrom in einer geöffneten Stellung.
