Abstract (en)
The method involves allowing delivery of a milling and/or stripping tool during and/or between machining steps by a drive. Shaped cutters of the tool are adapted to an edge contour of an edge band (5). An actual thickness of the edge band and/or an adhering layer is detected before, during and/or after application of the edge band on a narrow side of a plate-like workpiece (4). Fine machining of the edge band is carried out after flush milling by a drawing knife, which is arranged at a machining assembly. The cutters are aligned on the edge band by rotating the tool. An independent claim is also included for a machining assembly for flush milling and/or stripping an edge band, which is applied on narrow sides of a plate-like workpiece made of wood and/or wood substitute material.

Das Verfahren zum Bündigfräsen und/oder Abziehen eines auf die Schmalseiten plattenförmiger Werkstücke (4) aus Holz und/oder Holzersatzstoffen aufgebrachten Kantenbandes (5) mittels zumindest eines an einer Arbeitsspindel oder einem Schwenkpunkt eines Bearbeitungsaggregates aufgenommenen Fräs- und/oder Abziehwerkzeugs weist an die zu erzielende Randkontur des jeweiligen Kantenbandes angepasste Formschneiden auf. Während und/oder zwischen den Bearbeitungsschritten bewirkt zumindest ein Antrieb die Zustellung des Fräs- und/oder Abziehwerkzeugs.
