[origin: WO2010091759A1] The invention relates to an injection valve for metered injecting of a fluid, in particular of fuel, comprising a housing (11) and a plastic encapsulation (16) enclosing the housing (11), a fluid inlet side upper housing end of the housing and a fluid injecting side lower housing end of the housing protruding therefrom. In order to achieve so-called "fording ability" of the injection valve, the circumferential parting line (22) of the housing and the plastic encapsulation (16) at the lower end of the plastic encapsulation (16) is sealed, preferably by means of a sealing sleeve (23).
