[origin: WO2010091713A1] The present invention relates to the field of radio resource allocation between fourth-generation Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Networks (E-UTRANs) and second-generation radio access networks according to the GSM/EDGE standard (herein also referred to as GERANs). More particularly, the invention proposes a method and mechanism which allows GERAN and LTE radio resource management to share the same spectrum allocation in both co-channels and adjacent channels.
