[origin: EP2397263A2] The device (10) has an energy transmission element moved between an initial position and a setting position along setting axles for transmission of energy to a fastening element. A blocking device allows displacement of a pressing device (750) in a release position of the blocking device, and prevents displacement of the pressing device in a locked position. An unblocking device holds the blocking device in the release position when the unblocking device is in unblocking position, and allows movement of the blocking device in the locked position when the unblocking device is in wait position.
