Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2397269A2] The method involves driving a motor i.e. brushless direct current motor, with reduced rotation speed against load torque at time period, where the load torque is exerted from mechanical energy storage i.e. helical spring, of a drive device (10) to the motor. The rotation speed of the motor is reduced when energy is stored in the energy storage. The motor is driven with increased rotation speed against the load torque at another time period, where the former time period is longer than the latter period. Maximum load torque is larger than maximum torque, which is exerted by the motor. An independent claim is also included for a drive device for driving a fastening part into a substrate.
