[origin: EP2397640A2] The spindle drive (1) has a spindle-sided drive section, a spindle-nut-sided drive section and a spring assembly, which pressurizes the two drive sections in an extended position. A predetermined breaking point is provided in a drive train of the spindle drive, which breaks at predetermined limiting load acting on the spindle drive through a coupling unit (10,11).
