[origin: EP2397701A2] The accumulator (1) has a housing (2) with a pressure chamber (3), which is defined by a housing wall (4) and a piston (5). A volume of the pressure chamber is variable. The piston is slidingly displaceable along that housing wall. A lubricating layer (6) is assigned to the piston and/or the housing wall such that the piston is movable along the housing wall. A gasket (9) is arranged at the piston. The piston is made of duroplastic or thermoplastic resin. The lubricating layer is formed integrally with the piston.
