The element (2) has an extension part in a vertical direction, so that lateral leakage of hot air from a room (4) and/or through an open side (3) of the room is prevented. The room is defined by the element that is arranged at side surfaces of the room, where a flow device (7) moves air with flow speed by a diffuser (6) with a flow direction in a room, so that cold air in the room is replaced by the hot air. The diffuser extends over a portion of a base of the room, and conductive surfaces (11) are arranged in a region adjacent to the diffuser that is formed as a plate with through-flow holes.

Anordnung von Raum bildenden Elementen 2 einer Heizvorrichtung 1 zur Erwärmung eines an seiner Oberseite eine offene Seite 3 aufweisenden Raumes 4, wobei die Heizvorrichtung 1 eine Wärmequelle 5, einen Diffusor 6 und eine Strömungsvorrichtung 7 zur Bewegung eines Gases in die Nähe der Wärmequelle 5 und mit einer Strömungsgeschwindigkeit durch den zumindest über Teilbereiche des Bodens des Raumes 4 erstreckenden Diffusor 6 mit einer Strömungsrichtung 12 in den Raum 4 umfasst, sodass ein im Raum 4 befindliches kaltes Gas durch das erwärmte Gas verdrängt wird, wobei der Raum 4 durch an den Seitenflächen des Raumes 4 angeordnete Raum bildende Elemente 2 definiert ist, welche Raum bildenden Elemente 2 eine Erstreckung im wesentlichen in vertikaler Richtung aufweisen, sodass ein seitliches Ausströmen der erwärmten Luft aus dem Raum 4 und/oder durch die offene Seite 3 im wesentlichen unterbunden ist.
