The drier (10) has a heatable flat bed for retaining granular materials to be dried, and an agitator (38) movable over the flat bed. A cross beam (22) is arranged transverse to a movement direction of the agitator, and a row of rotatably driven vanes is supported at the cross beam. The vanes are formed as turning disks (30) that are arranged horizontally over the flat bed, where each of the turning disks is rotatably supported at the cross beam by a vertical axis (28). The axes of the turning disks lie in a common plane.

Der Schubwendetrockner hat ein beheizbares Flachbett (20) für die Aufnahme von zu trocknendem, insbesondere körnigem Gut sowie ein über dem Flachbett (20) verfahrbares Rührwerk (38) mit einer quer zur Verfahrrichtung des Rührwerks (38) angeordneten Traverse (22), an der eine Reihe drehbar angetriebener Schaufeln gelagert ist. Die Schaufeln sind als über dem Flachbett (20) angeordnete Wendeschnecken (30) ausgebildet, von denen jede über eine eigene, vertikale Achse (28) in der Traverse (22) drehbar gelagert ist, wobei die Achsen (28) der Wendeschnecken (30) in einer gemeinsamen Ebene liegen.
