Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2399649A2] The system has a control unit (10) connected with a closure unit (2) and a manual actuated input unit (18) i.e. button switch. Multiple sensor systems (11-13) are utilized for determining a current airplane condition. The control unit is designed such that the closure unit is activated depending upon the airplane condition that exists at a time point of actuation of the input unit. A signaling unit (19) is signalized, when the current airplane condition is identical with a preset airplane condition. A supply line (4) i.e. pipeline, is connected with an outlet opening (6) i.e. outlet nozzle. An independent claim is also included for a method for fire fighting in an airplane.
