[origin: EP2399690A1] The method involves simultaneously supplying two individual belts (15, 16) to fine cutting stages (17.1, 17.2, 18.1, 18.2) and pressing stages (19.1, 19.2, 20.1, 20.2) along a tool longitudinal axis (W) at a distance to each other in parallel and centered manner. Sliding elements in the belts are precut in pairs. The sliding elements from the belts are pressed in pairs in the pressing stages. The separated sliding elements are delivered from the pressing stages into discharge channels (21-24). The sliding elements of the belt are always provided in pairs per stamping stroke.
