Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2400082A2] The closure (2) has front and rear side walls (6, 7) connecting a base plate (4) with a cover plate (5). An aperture (9) is arranged in one of the front side wall and the cover plate for introducing a closing spigot (3) in an open position of a connecting rod fitting. A pocket (10) is arranged in the cover plate for receiving and engaging the spigot in a closing position of the fitting in form-fit manner. The rear side wall includes a broad recess corresponding to a width of the pocket. The recess is closed by a stopper, which stands opposite to the spigot in the closing position. The stopper is made of deformable plastic.
