Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2400471A2] The device has a detection and notification module (11) including an interface circuit (33) that couples the device with a high definition multimedia interface connector (5) providing control signal from a TV (2). A detection circuit (32) detects the control signal of the TV via the interface circuit. A notification circuit (31) sends a notification to a central monitoring device (21) when the control signal is detected by the detection circuit. The notification circuit is coupled with a residential gateway (10) connected with a telecommunication network (N).
