[origin: WO2010097321A2] The invention relates to a domestic dishwasher (1) comprising a pivotable door (3) provided with an inner wall (12) and an outer wall (11) for closing the washing container (6), the front side on the base (8) thereof comprising a raised lip (9) which projects into the intermediate chamber (33) between the inner wall (12) and the outer wall (11) of the door (3). A sealing element (18) is provided as a moulded part in the intermediate chamber (33) of the door (3) in such a manner that a cavity (13) above the lip (9) between the inner wall (12) and outer wall (11) of the door (3) can be sealed in the closed position and open position and also a gap (19) between the lip (9) and the outer wall (11) of the door (3) can be sealed in the closed position.
