[origin: WO2010083541A1] The invention relates to a side milling cutter tool for milling and/or sawing metal blanks, comprising a disk-shaped main body (2), at or on the edge region of which a plurality of exchangeable cutting elements (3), such as in particular hard metal blades, are arranged, wherein seats (10) are designed at the edge region of the main body (2) for at least sectionally receiving or for at least having contact with the cutting elements (3), and the cutting elements (3) are non-positively or positively in mutual contact with the seats (10), or rest against or on the seats (10) or are received by the same, such at least those cutting forces acting tranversely to the cutting plane on the cutting elements (3) are absorbed by the respective seats (10), wherein the seat (10) has a seat support surface (11) which is delimited by a boundary elevation (9) such that the boundary elevation (9), together with the seat (10), forms a receiving pocket that is open on one side for positively receiving the cutting element (3).
